குடும்பம்

நட்பிலே கணவன் மனைவி உறவு மிகப் பெருமையுடையது. உடல், பொருள், ஆற்றல், என்ற மூன்றையும் ஒருவருக் கொருவர் மனம் உவந்து அர்ப்பணித்து வாழ்கைத் துணைவராகி இன்ப துன்பங்களில் பங்கு கொண்டு வாழும் பெருமை கணவன் - மனைவி உறவில்தான்.

பொருள் ஈட்டுதலில் இருவரில் ஒருவரோ அல்லது ஒருவருக்கொருவர் ஏற்றத்தாழ்வான திறமையும் பொறுப்பும் உடையவராகவோ இருக்கலாம். ஆயினும் காப்பது, நுகர்வது, பிறர்கிடுவது ஆகிய செயல்களில் இருவரும் சமமான பொறுப்பை ஏற்க வேண்டும்.

வாழ்க்கையிலேயே மேம்பாடாக, நற்றுணையாக மதிக்க வேண்டியது கணவனை மனைவியும் மனைவியைக் கணவனுமே. கணவன் மனைவி நட்பில் வலிவு பெறாதவர்கள் வாழ்வு குறையுடையதாகவே கருத வேண்டும். எனவே ஒவ்வொருவரும் கணவன் - மனைவி உறவை உயிருக்கும் மேலானதாக மதித்து போற்ற வேண்டும். எக்காரணத்திலேனும் இந்த நட்பு முறிந்தால் ஓராண்டு காலம் பொறுத்திருந்து இனி மீலாது என்ற முடிவு ஏற்பட்டு விட்டால்தான் திருமண ரத்துக்கும் மருமணத்திற்கும் முயற்சி மேற்கொள்ளலாம். வேறுபட்ட உள்ளங்கள் காலத்தால் ஒன்றுபட இடமுண்டு. உணர்ச்சி வயப்பட்டு விவாகரத்து ஏற்படாதவாறு சமுதாயத்திலுள்ள அறிஞர்கள் தக்க பாதுகாப்பும் அறிவுரைகளும் வழங்க வேண்டும். தகுந்த காரணமின்றி எளிதாகத் திருமண ரத்துக்கு இடமளிக்காத சமுதாயமே ஆன்மிக வலுவிலும், ஒழுக்க உயர்விலும் பெருமைப்படத் தக்கதாக இருக்கும்.

ஐந்திணைப்புப் பண்பாடு

தற்சோதனை என்பது தன்னைப் பற்றி ஆராய்தல் என்று விளங்கும். தன்னைப் பற்றிச் சிந்தித்தல், தன் குறையுணர்தல், தான் திருத்தம் பெறத் திட்டம் வகுத்தல், வகுத்த வழியே செயலாற்றி வெற்றி பெறுதல் என்பன எல்லாம் தற்சோதனைப் பயிற்சியில் அடங்கும்.

தற்சோதனையை நான்கு பிரிவுகளாக்கி ஒவ்வொன்றாகப் பயிற்சியளிக்கப்படுகின்றது. முதற் பயிற்சி 'நான் யார்?' என்ற வினாவினை எழுப்பி விடைபெறுதலாகும். உடல், உயிர், அறிவு, மெய்ப்பொருள் என்ற நான்கும் இணைந்தே மனிதன் என்ற இயக்கமாக விளங்குகிறது. இந்த நான்கு நிலைகளைப் பற்றி விளக்கத்தின் மூலமும், சிந்தனையின் மூலமும் உணர்ந்து கொள்வதே மெய்யுணர்வாகும்.

இரண்டாவது பயிற்சி எண்ணம், சொல், செயல் இவற்றை ஒழுங்குபடுத்துவதாகும். தனக்கும், பிறர்க்கும், தற்காலத்திலும், பிற்காலத்திலும் அறிவிற்கும் உடல் உணர்ச்சிக்கும் துன்பம் எழாத அளவிலும், முறையிலும் எண்ணம், சொல், செயல் மூன்றையும் பண்படுத்திப் பயன் பெறுதலாகும்.

மூன்றாவது பயிற்சி அறுகுணச் சீரமைப்பு. பேராசை, சினம், கடும்பற்று, முறையற்ற பால் கவர்ச்சி, உயர்வு தாழ்வு மனப்பான்மை, வஞ்சம் எனும் ஆறு குணங்களையும் நிறைமனம், சகிப்புத்தன்மை, ஈகை, கற்பு, நேர் நிறை விளக்கம், மன்னிப்பு என்ற ஆறு நற்குணங்களாக மாற்றும் பயிற்சி முறையே அறுகுணச் சீரமைப்பாகும். மனிதன் உணர்ச்சி வயப்படும்போது தான் அவன் ஆறு தீய குணங்களாக மாறுகிறான். அறிவின் வயம் நின்ற மாறாத விழிப்பு நிலை பெற்றால் உணர்ச்சி வயமாக மாற வழியே இல்லை. மனித இனப் பண்பாட்டிற்கு அறுகுணச் சீரமைப்பு இன்றியமையாததாகும்.

நான்காவது பயிற்சி கவலை ஒழித்தல். அறியாமை, உணர்ச்சி வயமாதல், சோம்பேறித்தனம் இவற்றால் செயல் தவறுகளும் கணிப்புத் தவறுகளும் ஏற்படுகின்றன. இவைகளையெல்லாம் ஆராய்ந்து முறைப்படி எல்லாக் கவலைகளையும் ஒழித்து நலம் பெறக் கவலையொழித்தல் என்ற பயிற்சி நன்கு உதவுகின்றது. குண்டலினி யோகத்தால் விழிப்பு நிலை பெற்று தற்சோதனைப் பயிற்சி முறையால் மனத்தூய்மையும், வினைத்தூய்மையும் உண்டானால், அவற்றின் அடிப்படையில் ஒழுக்க உணர்வு, கடமையுணர்வு, மெய்ப்பொருள் உணர்வு என்ற மூன்றும் இயல்பாக வந்துவிடும். எனவே, இத்தகைய பண்பாட்டின் பயிற்சி முறையை "ஐந்திணைப்புப் பண்பாடு" என்று வழங்குகிறோம்.

எண்ணு, சொல்,செய்
எல்லோர்க்கும் நன்மை தர,
எண்ணும்படி செய்,
செய்யும்படி எண்ணு.

எண்ணத்தின் வலிமை

எண்ணியவெல்லாம்
எண்ணியபடியே யாகும்,
எண்ணத்தில், உறுதியும்,
ஒழுங்கும் அமைந்திடில்

உண்மை இன்பம்

பொங்குக பொங்குக!
பூரித்து உள்ளமெலாம்.
எங்கும் நிறைந்தநம்
ஏகாந்த நிலையறிந்து.

தியாகியும் ஞானியும்

கடமையுணர்ந்து அதைச் செயலில்
காட்டுபவன் தியாகியாம்,
கடவுளே மனிதனான
கருத்தறிந்தோன் ஞானியாம்.

கடவுளும் கடமையும்

கடமையில் உயர்ந்தவர்
கடவுளை நாடுவார்.
கடவுளை அறிந்தவர்
கடமையில் வாழுவார்.

கவலைக்கு மருந்து

இயற்கையை அறிந்துஒத்து
எண்ணுபவர் எண்ணம்
எப்போதும் எவ்விடத்தும்
கவலையாய் மாறாது.

ஆறு குணங்கள்

அறிவின் சலனமே காமமாதி ஆறுகுணங்கள்
ஆழ்ந்து ஆராய்ந்து, அறிந்தவிடம் நிர்குணம்.

உனது பெருமை
அவனில் அணு, அணுவில் அவன்,
உன்னில் எல்லாம், நீ அறி உன்னை.

பெண்ணின் பெருமை
பெண் வயிற்றி லுருவாகிப்
பெண் பாலுண்டே வளர்ந்தாய்
பெண் துணையால் வாழ்கின்றாய்
பெண்ணின் பெருமை உணர்.

எண்ணம் பிறக்குமிடம்
எண்ணத்தின் சக்தி
இயல்பு அறிந்திடில்,

எப்பொருளை எச்செயலை எக்குணத்தை
எவ்வுயிரை ஒருவர் அடிக்கடி நினைத்தால்
அப்பொருளின் தன்மையாய் நினைப்போர் ஆற்றல்
அறிவினிலும் உடலினினும் மாற்றங்காணும்;
இப்பெருமை இயல்பூக்க நியதியாகும்
எவரொருவர் குருவை மதித்து ஒழுகினாலும்
தப்பாது குருயுர்வு மதிப்போர் தம்மைத்
தரத்தில் உயர்த்திப் பிறவிப்பயனை நல்கும்.

தவமாற்றும் சாதனையால் உயரும்போது

There once was a boy who loved eating sweets. He always asked for sweets from his father. His father was a poor man. He could not always afford sweets for his son.But the little boy did not understand this, and demanded sweets all the time.

The boy’s father thought hard about how to stop the child asking for so many sweets.There was a very holy man living nearby at that time. The boy’s father had an idea. He decided to take the boy to the great man who might be able to persuade the child to stop asking for sweets all the time. The boy and his father went along to the great man. The father said to him, “O great saint, could you ask my son to stop asking for sweets which I cannot afford?”. The holy man told the father to bring his son back after one month.

When the boy and his father returned after a month, the holy man said to the boy “My dear child, will you stop asking for sweets which your father cannot afford to give you?”. From then on, the boy stopped asking for sweets.

The boy’s father asked the saint, “Why did you not ask my son to give up asking for sweets when we came to you a month ago?”. The saint replied, “How could I ask a boy to give up sweets when I loved sweets myself. In the last month I gave up eating sweets.” A person’s example is much more powerful than just his words. When we ask someone to do something, we must do it ourselves also. We should not ask others to do what we do not do ourselves.

We should always make sure that our actions and our words are same.

One day a young couple came to our house and asked for me. They gave me a large amount of money.I asked them, "Where did you get so much money?"

They answered, "We got married two days ago. Before we got married we had decided not to celebrate the wedding, not to buy wedding clothes, not to have a reception or a honeymoon. We wanted to give you the money we saved."

I know what such a decision meant,especially for a Hindu family.That is why I asked them, "But how did you think of such a thing?"

"We love each other so much" they answered, "that we wanted to share the joy of our love with those you serve."

தவம் நன்றாக அமைய...

வாழ்க வளமுடன்.

குருவின் திருவருளால் எந்த நிலையிலும் ஒருவர் அமைதியை பெற முடியும்.
தேவை தவமும் குருவை அணுகுதலும்.

எண்ணமின்றி எதுவுமில்லை. எண்ணத்திற்கப்பாலும் எதுவுமில்லை என்று அடிக்கடி நம் குரு நாதர் சொல்வார்.

எந்த தவமும் நன்றாக அமைய எண்ண அலைகள் குறைந்து வர வேண்டும். தவம் மணிக்கணக்கில் செய்தாலும், எண்ணத்தின் அழுத்தம் குறையாமல் இருந்தால் அங்கே தவமே நிகழ வில்லை எனக்கூறலாம். எண்ணத்திலே அழுத்தமாக உள்ளதை குருவின் மேல் திருப்பி விட்டு, கடமையை செய்து வாருங்கள்!

எதையும் அடிக்கடி நினைந்து வர, அதுவாகவே நனவிலும், கனவிலும் வருவதை காணலாம். எல்லாம் பழக்கத்திலே இருக்கின்றது.

சும்மா கடமைக்கு, எங்க வீட்டு ஐயாவும் கச்சேரிக்கு போகிறார் என்பது போல கண்ணை மூடி உட்கார்ந்து, பஞ்ச பூதத் தவம், நவக்ரகத் தவம் என்று மாற்றி மாற்றி செய்து விட்டால் எதுவும் மாறாது.

எப்பொருளை எச்செயலை எக்குணத்தை
எவ்வுயிரை ஒருவர் அடிக்கடி நினைந்தால்
அப்பொருளின் தன்மையாய் நினைப்போர் ஆற்றல்

எதை நினைந்தால் உயர்வு உண்டாகுமோ அதையே நினைந்து வர வர, மாற்றம் கண்முன்னே நிகழும்.

எந்த எண்ண அழுத்தத்தையும் விட, குருவே உயர்ந்தவர். அவரின் வழியை முறையாக தொடர்ந்தவருக்கு அமைதி என்றுமே நிலைத்து விடும்.

தாயென்றும் தந்தையென்றும் தனிப்பெரும் காப்பாக அமைந்து நம்மை காத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் குருவின் பாதங்களில் சிரம் வைத்து வணங்குகிறேன்.


நமது பிறப்பால் நமக்கு அமைந்திருக்கும் எல்லாமும் நம் பெற்றோர்களால் நம்மை வந்தடைகிறது... இதிலே நாம் விரும்பியோ விரும்பாமலோ நமது பெற்றோரின் அனைத்து பதிவுகளும் நம்மைத் தொடர்கிறது...


ஆனால் குரு என்ற தொடர்பு மட்டும் தான் இந்த பிறப்புச்சுழலில் இருந்து நம்மை திருப்பி இறையிடம் கொண்டு செல்லுகிறது. குருவின் உதவி என்பது நாம் கணக்கிட முடியா ஆழ்ந்த நிலையிலே நம்மைத் தொடர்ந்து தந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது. சரணடைதல் என்பது தான் இந்த பிறப்பிலே உள்ள பயனை அடைய வழியாக இருக்கிறது...


நாம் நிறைய செயல்கள் செய்வோம்.... நல்லது கெட்டது என்று பிரித்துக்கொண்டே போகலாம். ஆனால் நாம் வெகு இயல்பாகவே சில தவறுகள் செய்வோம்... அது நமக்கு தவறாகத் தெரியாது... ஆனால் இந்த தவறுகள் நிச்சயமாக சூழ்நிலைகளாலும், முன் வினைகளால் நமக்கு வந்து கொண்டிருக்கும்....

இதெல்லாம் ஒரு புறம் இருக்கும்....இருக்கட்டும். இப்போது குருவிடம் சரணடைகிறோம்.... அப்போது, நாம் இது வரை செய்து கொண்டிருந்த செயல்களில் இருந்து நம்மை விலக்கி, இறையின் பக்கம் ஆழமாகச்செல்வோம்... இறை அனுபவம் என்பது கூட சாத்தியப்படும்... அப்படி எனில், வினைப்பயன் என்ன ஆனது என்றால் அது இந்த உடலுக்கு என்று என்னென்ன செய்யவேண்டுமோ அது செய்து கொண்டே இருக்கலாம், ஆனால் குருவிடம் சரணடைதல் என்ற பந்தமானது, நம்மை அந்த சுழலில் சிக்கா வண்ணம் திருப்பி விட்டுக்கொண்டே இருக்கும்....

ஜாதகம் ஏதோ சொல்லும்... ஆனால் குருவின் ஆற்றலானது நம்மை அந்த கிரக நிலைகளில் இருந்தும் நம்மை தாங்கிக்கொள்ளும்... கிரக அமைப்புகள் என்னென்னவோ சொல்லும், ஆனால் அவைகள் அப்படியே இருக்க, சொல்லப்பட்ட கடினமான நிகழ்கள் எல்லாம் வெகு எளிதாக மாற்றி எளிதாக்கப்பட்டு விடும். அது தான் குருவிடம் கொள்ளும் பந்தத்தின் பயன்.

குருவிடம் கொள்ளப்படும் பந்தத்தின் ஆழம் தான், நாம் தியானத்தின் உச்சக்கட்ட பயனைக் கொள்ளும் வாய்ப்பின் அளவு...

நமது பழக்கங்கள் எல்லாம் நமக்கு பெற்றோரினால் வந்து அமைந்து இருக்கும்... மாறாமல் இருக்கும்.Let it be.... ஆனால் குருவிடம் கொண்டுள்ள பந்தம் தரும் பதிவு அந்த பழைய பதிவுகளை எல்லாம் தொடாமலேயே நம்மை தூக்கி இறை நிலையிலே நிறுத்தி பிறவிப்பயனை அடைய உதவும்....

இதைத்தான் நமது கவிதையாக எழுதினார்...


தந்தை தாய் ஈருயிரும் ஒன்று சேர்ந்து
தழைத்தொரு உடலாகி உலகில் வந்தேன்
அந்த ஈருயிர் வினைகள் அறமோ மற்றோ
அளித்த பதிவுகள் எல்லாம் என் சொத்தாச்சு.

இந்த அரும்பிறவியில் முன்வினையறுத்து
எல்லையில்லா மெய்ப்பொருளை அடைவதற்கு
வந்த ஒரு உதவி குரு உயிரின் சேர்க்கை
வணங்கி குரு திருவடியை வாழ்த்தி வாழ்வேன்...


இந்தக்கவியின் மூன்றாவது வரியிலே, அந்த ஈருயிர் வினைகள் அறமோ மற்றோ.... என்று எழுதி இருக்கிறார் அல்லவா... மற்றோ என்ற ஒரு வார்த்தையிலே எத்தனையோ விதமான வினைகளும் அடக்கம்.

அப்படி இருக்கிற வினைகள் எல்லாம் நம்மால் தீர்த்துக்கொண்டால் தான் நாம் தூய்மை பெற முடியும் என்ற ஒரு எண்ணம் இருப்பின், நாம் இந்த பிறப்பிலே தியானமே செய்ய முடியாது...

குருவின் உதவி என்ற ஆற்றல் என்பது எல்லாவற்றையும் மாற்றி விடும் வல்லமை கொண்டது என்பதால், குருவை அண்டி தியானத்திலே ஆழ்ந்து செல்ல வேண்டியது தான் வழி.

மனதின் ஆழம் வரை மட்டும் தானே இந்த பதிவுகள் வேலை செய்ய முடியும்... மனதை தாண்டி இருக்கிற குருவின் ஆற்றலிடம் இந்த வினைகள் என்ன செய்து விடும்? புலன் உயர்வை கடந்து விரிந்து இருக்கிற குருவிடம் இந்த வினைகள் புஸ்வானமாகிப்போகும்! குருவிடம் அந்த வினைகளின் தொகுப்பான மனதை விட்டு விட்டு தவத்தை ஆரம்பிப்போம்... வினைகளின் தூய்மை என்பது நாம் செய்யும் நற்செயலினால் வரும் என்பார்கள். தியானத்தை விட நற்செயல் எதுவும் இல்லை.


வினைப்பதிவுகள் எல்லாம் அப்படியே குருவின் காலடியில் விட்டு விட்டு, நிமிர்ந்து குருவின் கையை பிடித்துக்கொண்டு எழுச்சியுடன் செய்வோம் தவத்தை...

குருவே தான் இருப்பு நிலை.... என்று ஆழ்ந்து செல்லவேண்டும். குருவின் ஆற்றலை கண்டால் தாங்க மாட்டோம்... புலன் அறிவிலே நின்று கொண்டு அந்த அபரிமிதமான ஆற்றலிடம் நீர்த்துப் போய் விடவேண்டாம்.

குரு, இருப்பு, நான் என்ற மூன்று நிலைகள் தனித்தனியாக இயங்காமல், குருவின் மூலம் இருப்பை உணர்ந்து நான் என்ற முனைப்பைக் கரைத்து ஆற்றல் வெளியோடு கலந்து விடல் தான் நாம் செய்ய வேண்டியது.


வினைப்பதிவுகள் எல்லாம் குருவிடம் சரணடைந்த சீடனின் பக்கமே செல்லாது ஓடும்.

EVEN THIS SHALL PASS AWAY ...

Once a king called upon all of his wise men and asked them,

"Is there a mantra or suggestion which works in every situation, in every circumstance, in every place and in every time. Something which can help me when none of you is available to advise me. Tell me is there any mantra?"

All wise men got puzzled by King's question.

One answer for all question? Something that works everywhere, in every situation, in every joy, every sorrow, every defeat and every victory?

They thought and thought.

After a lengthy discussion, an old man suggested something which appealed to all of them. They went to the king and gave him something written on paper. But the condition was that king was not to see it out of curiosity. Only in extreme danger, when the King finds himself alone and there seems to be no way, only then he'll have to see it.

The King put the papers under his Diamond ring.

After a few days, the neighbors attacked the Kingdom.
It was a collective surprise attack of the King's enemies.
King and his army fought bravely but lost the battle.
King had to fled on his horse. The enemies were following him.
His horse took him far away in the Jungle.
He could hear many troops of horses following him and the noise was coming closer and closer.
Suddenly the King found himself standing at the end of the road - that road was not going anywhere.

Underneath there was a rocky valley thousand feet deep.
If he jumped into it, he would be finished.and he could not return because it was a small road.
The sound of enemy's horses was approaching fast. King became restless. There seemed to be no way.

Then suddenly he saw the Diamond in his ring shining in the sun, and he remembered the message hidden in the ring.
He opened the diamond and read the message. The message was very small but very great.

The message was - "Even this shall pass away."

The King read it. Again read it. Suddenly something struck him- Yes! it too will pass. Only a few days ago, I was enjoying my kingdom. I was the mightiest of all the Kings. Yet today, the Kingdom and all his pleasure have gone.

I am here trying to escape from enemies.

However when those days of luxuries have gone, this day of danger too will pass. Calm come on his face.

He kept standing there.

The place where he was standing was full of natural beauty. He had never known that such a beautiful place was also a part of his Kingdom. The revelation of the message had a great effect on him. He relaxed and forgot about those following him. After a few minutes he realized that the noise of the horses and the enemy coming was receding. They moved into some other part of the mountains and were not on that path.

The King was very brave. He reorganized his army and fought again. He defeated the enemy and regained his lost empire. When he returned to his empire after victory, he was received with much fan fare at the door. The whole capital was rejoicing in the victory. Everyone was in a
festive mood.

Flowers were being thrown on the King from every house, from every corner. People were dancing and singing. For a moment King said to himself," I am one of the bravest and greatest King. It is not easy to defeat me".

With all the reception and celebration he saw an ego emerging in him.

Suddenly the Diamond of his ring flashed in the sunlight and reminded him of the message. He open it and read it again: "Even this shall pass away."

If this too is going to pass, it is not yours. The defeat was not yours, the victory is not yours. You are just a watcher. Everything passes by we are witness of all this. We are the perceiver.


Life comes and goes.

Happiness comes and goes. Sorrow comes and goes.

Now as you have read this story, just sit silently and evaluate your own life. Think of the moments of joy and victory in your life. Think of the moment of Sorrow and defeat. Are they permanent? They all come and pass away. Life just passes away.

There were friends in the past. They have gone.
There are friends today. They too will go.
There will be new friends tomorrow. They too will go.

There were enemies in the past. They have gone.
There may be enemies in the present. They too will go.
There will be new enemies tomorrow and.they too will go.

There is nothing permanent in this world. Everything changes except the law of change. Think over it from your own perspective. You have seen all the changes. You have survived all setbacks, all defeats and all sorrows.

All have passed away. If there are problems in the present, they too will pass away. Because nothing remains forever.

Who are you in reality? Know your real face. Your face is not your true face. It will change with the time. However, there is something in you, which will not change. It will remain unchanged. What is that unchangeable?

It is nothing but your true self. You are just a witness of change.

Experience it, understand it.
